Subscriptions

Three published plans, each billed monthly or annually and each cancellable at any time. The desk’s front page — the live alert wire, the situation map and the day’s top developments — stays free to read. A subscription opens the whole desk: the complete wire, every board, the stored archive and the printable briefing, and the plans differ only in how many people they cover.

Every Subscribe button opens the desk’s secure QuickBooks payment page, where the same price, the period it is billed for and these same terms are shown again before any card is entered.

Plan comparison

The same three subscriptions, feature by feature. A tick means the plan carries that feature; a dash means it does not.

Billing terms & cancellation

  • The desk publishes two billing periods on each subscription: monthly, and annual at the price of ten months.
  • Monthly — billed monthly, in U.S. dollars. There is no automatic renewal: the desk emails you each month to renew, and your access continues while it is renewed.
  • Annual — billed once a year, in U.S. dollars. The annual figure is the price of ten months, so the other two are free, and the saving printed on the annual card is that figure measured against twelve monthly charges. There is no automatic renewal: the desk emails you each year to renew, and your access continues while it is renewed.
  • The price shown is the price charged, for the period chosen. No setup fee and no minimum term.
  • Cancel any time before the next renewal date and no further period is charged. Write to sunny@sbsentinel.live and the desk cancels the subscription before the next billing date; access continues to the end of the period already paid for — the month, or the year.
  • An annual subscription is not refunded part-way through the year. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the year already paid for runs to its end.
  • Your receipt and its renewal reminders come by email from the desk’s payment provider.

To cancel, write to sunny@sbsentinel.live from the address the subscription is under, or reply to any receipt. With no automatic renewal nothing is charged again on a renewal date; the desk cancels before the next one and access runs to the end of the month already paid for.

Business and organisation seats?

The three subscriptions above are the desk’s published plans, and Corporate is the one that covers organisations: up to 25 seats on a single monthly bill. There is no second seat ladder beside it. For anything larger — more seats, a named contact at the desk or an invoice against a purchase order — send the number of seats, the organisation and the address an invoice should go to, and the desk replies with a written arrangement. Write to procurement@sbsentinel.org.

Arrangements beyond the published plans include seat management for the account owner, the dated archive export (CSV), the source-grade audit trail on every item, and email support. Institutional buyers: Government & Enterprise terms, procurement and invoicing are handled through our procurement desk — procurement@sbsentinel.org.

Disclosure

A subscription buys access to reporting and to the desk’s alert boards. It does not buy a recommendation, a signal, or any part in anyone’s decisions. Read the desk’s editorial standards.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the desk's reporting come from?

The desk reads primary advisories, wire services, analysis organisations, regional press and foreign-language sources. The full list, with per-source controls, is on the Sources page.

How are sources graded?

The desk grades every item on a fixed source hierarchy — PRIMARY ADVISORY, WIRE SERVICE, ANALYSIS ORG, PRESS, SOCIAL — in that order of precedence. A primary advisory outranks a wire report, and a wire report outranks an outlet. Every item carries its grade on the card, so a reader can see how much weight it deserves.

How is the Sources page maintained?

The source directory is held in one place and read by the pages that display it, so the list cannot drift from page to page. When a source stops answering, the desk mutes or flags it rather than showing a false green, and a failing source is shown grey with the reason it is failing. The current state of every source is listed on the Sources page.

How are the source and region counts kept accurate?

The figures shown on the pricing cards are read from the desk’s own source directory rather than typed into the page — 268 sources across 8 regions at present — so they update whenever the directory changes.
